from their reseller, and they then receive a license certificate
directly from Symantec. The Value Program offers volume discounts to
customers, who may commit to larger deals. Customers can now
combine licenses for products within the same 'product family' helping
them to meet the minimum purchase requirement or to qualify
for a higher price band. The Value Program also provides
up-sell opportunities on all deals with 1st and 2nd year
Maintenance contracts, Maintenance renewals, as well as higher-level technical support
options. The Value Program includes all the Symantec enterprise software
products (with the exception of Symantec appliances) thus eliminating the
